On March 1st, the National Defense Academy (NDA) hosted the annual International Cadet Conference in Yokosuka, Japan. YCAPS was delighted to partner with the NDA and provide four Junior Officers from three branches to discuss topics selected by the cadets. The four cadet battalions were eager to discuss military schooling, officer development, bi-lateral exercises, and the role of the military during a pandemic. While the US officers participated only virtually this year, both the NDA Cadets and presenters eagerly expressed their desire to meet in person once the restrictions allow.
