Getting to Know Japan

A Webinar Series from YCAPS &

The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership

YCAPS is pleased to announce the launch of a new program, the “Getting to Know Japan” webinar series. This series will be implemented in full partnership with The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership. The first webinar will be held in mid-April.

This webinar series is meant to assist Americans living in Japan as a part of the U.S. military presence to learn about and gain greater appreciation for their host nation’s culture and society. World-class specialists will deliver engaging lessons on introductory-level topics related to Japanese culture and society. While targeted at the US military community, the webinars will be open to others interested in learning more about Japan, including the more than 50,000 American civilians who reside in the country.

In order to launch and implement the series, YCAPS is searching for a program manager. This will be a part-time position (25 hours/week). Potential applicants are encouraged to review and follow the procedures in this job advertisement.
