    The Embassy of India in Tokyo and the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies (YCAPS) are pleased to co-host a special seminar titled “India, Japan, and 10 Years of the Free & Open Indo-Pacific Concept.” Leading scholars and activity practitioners will reflect on the current status of Japan-India relations and reflect on the tenth anniversary of Prime the formal announcement of Japan Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) vision in New Delhi—a concept that was rooted Prime Minister Abe Shinzo’s 2007 speech to the Indian Parliament, “Confluence of the Two Seas". Join distinguished experts and policymakers as they assess India–Japan relations, reflect on the evolution of FOIP over the past decade, and discuss future directions for sustaining a prosperous bilateral relationship that supports regional prosperity.
