Okinawa in the Japanese Empire: A Military History

YCAPS & the Sasakawa Peace Foundation are pleased to launch the Community Conversations seminar series in Okinawa. The inaugural event will feature Hiroyuki Shindo from the National Institute of Defense Studies discussing Okinawa’s military history as a part of the Japanese Empire until World War II.

This event will be a webinar. Future Community Conversations events will be held in person so long as health and safety conditions permit.
