Fukagawa Edo Museum Visit: Everyday Life in Edo Tokyo
Saturday, August 1st, 13:30 - 16:00 JST (In-Person event- Tokyo)

YCAPS is excited to announce a group visit to the Fukagawa Edo Museum in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Tokyo. This field trip will explore daily life in Edo-period Tokyo through a recreated neighborhood setting, including homes, shops, streets, and examples of ordinary urban life. Participants will consider how Edo society shaped the development of modern Tokyo and how museums help preserve and present everyday history.
Participants should be prepared for approximately 1.5 hours of walking and standing while exploring the museum. The museum is indoors and should be accessible as a casual afternoon event.
Following the event, participants are invited to join for an optional snack or coffee at the Byron Bay Coffee Company. YCAPS will cover the museum entrance fee. Other food, beverages, and personal expenses will be the responsibility of individual participants.
