On 22 Sept 2018, thirteen YCAPS members got underway at sunset from Yokohama's Red Brick pier for a tour of Kawasaki's industrial waterfront. Cruising near Yokohama's iconic bay bridge and up the Keihin canal, they got an up close look at a rarely seen side of this industrial center. As it got dark the landscape transformed to highlight gas flares and work lights as the systems churned on. Japan is the world's third largest economy and industrial concentration area such as Kawasaki play a huge role in driving that sector.
