On 19 Aug 2020, YCAPS President Nick Millward gave a presentation on the tensions between an expanding People's Republic of China and the steppe peoples of Central Asia to the Wold Affairs Council of Reading. Based on his personal research, he provided a great deal of research into the contemporary tensions involved with the PRC's attempt to assimilate their Mongolian population.
