YCAPS’ Mongolia Connect program is partnering with a range of partners to deliver 166 adjustable, all-terrain wheelchairs to disabled children in the Mongolian countryside. The wheelchairs will be donated from Wheelchairs for Kids (a charity in Perth, Australia), but we must cover the shipping costs to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. That shipping costs works out to be about US$35 per wheelchair.

We are asking for your support with this initiative. YCAPS’ Mongolia Connect program is committed to building grassroots’ relations within the region and improving the quality of life of others.

Demonstrating this is an act of love and labor, YCAPS Mongolia Connect Director, Nick Millward will be partnering with an Australian and Mongolian to conduct a 24-hour Row-a-thon from 8am-8am on 29-30 July. They will be on rowing machines outside the Anytime Fitness East Brisbane gym. We encourage anyone interested to jump on the rowers and struggle alongside of them.

We also have a detailed report with photographs from the last time these sort of deliveries were made in Mongolia. But we do not want to share on social media as we want to respect the privacy of the recipients. If you want to see the report, please contact Nick privately at nick@ycaps.org.

Thank you for your consideration and support! Please help us help other.
