Dr. Tsai also introduced Taiwan's 2025 National Ocean Policy White Paper and discussed broader issues related to maritime sustainability, marine renewable energy, blue carbon ecosystems, and the maritime sector's contribution to Taiwan's net-zero emissions goals.

The webinar concluded with a Q&A session, during which the GENIE participants engaged Dr. Tsai on a range of maritime policy issues. GENIEs also shared updates on their developing policy proposals in preparation for presenting them during the Taiwan Maritime GENIE program in early July.
