    Alliance Handbook Series

    The Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies is proud to announce the release of the “Alliance Handbook Series,” a joint project with the United States Studies Centre (USSC) at the University of Sydney, Australia. Containing the agreements, core instruments, and related documents that underpin important security relationships in the region, these books provide scholars, practitioners, and other observers key insights for work and research.

    The series includes the following (with forewords by USSC CEO Dr. Michael J. Green):

    (1) “Underwriting the US-Japan Alliance” by John F. Bradford and Michael M. Bosack

    (2) “The Australia-Japan Special Strategic Partnership” by Michael M. Bosack

    (3) “Managing the Unbreakable Alliance” by Blake D. Herzinger
